According to author Larry J. Frieders, we live in an over-medicated society, and its getting worse by the day. In his experience as a pharmacist, which spans four decades, he has become disgusted with what passes for health care in the United States and wants to share some truth about how actual healthy living can be achieved and maintained.

In his new book, The Undruggist: Book One (published by Balboa Press), Frieders gives readers a simple compilation of his approach to health, separated into three easy to read and reference sections that cover compounding, home remedies and a frank discussion on healthy choices. While the book is written to give readers another look into the medications that they are ingesting and the surgical procedures that may be unnecessary, the theories and discussions in the book are based on hard facts gained throughout his career as a pharmacist.

People have sometimes asked if Im a proponent for alternative health care, said Frieders. On the surface, the answer is yes, however on a more real basis, Im a supporter of more traditional approaches to health and healing: good food, clean water, modest exercise, limited exposure to poisons and time. I look at life and health as a standard.

There is something for just about everyone in the pages of The Undruggist: Book One. From tips on urinary control, bad breath, proper shaving, weight loss and erectile dysfunction, Frieders offers solid alternatives to readers so that they may make their own decisions about how they take care of themselves. Frieders understands that when basic remedies seem unavailable or take too long, the alternative is to run to a prescription or agree to a surgical procedure. While these options have their place, their overuse often ends with adverse effects.

Running to the doctor for prescriptions and procedures has become the norm for many health issues. If approached with the sort of common sense available in The Undruggist: Book One, many of these ailments can be handled from the comfort of ones home, because as Frieders puts it, Health isnt a right unless you fight for it.

About the Author:

Larry J. Frieders, RPH, received a degree in pharmacy in 1971, later working at Cook County Hospital and as Director of Pharmacy at Jackson Park Hospital in Chicago. Larry would later leave the hospital setting and open his own pharmacy in 1983. After years in a drugstore environment, Larry became aware that the medicines he was dispensing were causing more harm than good. Deciding to discontinue commercial drug sales, Larry decided to work only as a compounder, working directly with customers and their doctors. In addition to his thriving business, Larry and his family now own and operate a popular Web site, http://www.thecompounder.com, where he shares his sage medical advice and offers services and products only previously available to his customers in the Chicagoland area.

Any opinions on male enhancement/erectile dysfunction remedies?

By on February 18, 2012 in Remedies For Erectile Dysfunction

Question by deoarby: Any opinions on male enhancement/erectile dysfunction remedies?
I’m 44 years old. I’ve looked into prescriptions for erectile dysfunction but my insurance does not cover them and they seem to be expensive. Are there less expensive options for Levitra, Viagra, etc? I’ve seen herbal supplements, over the counter things, etc. Are there any worth trying that are safe to use? Pros and cons?

Best answer:

Answer by Connor
Don’t confuse male enhancements with ED medications. They aren’t the same. Male enhancements claim to increase size (which obviously they don’t).

To be perfectly honest, getting prescription treatments is your only option. Anything herbal or over the counter won’t work and it’s a waste of money. I’d look into shopping for other insurance rather than other forms of medication.

Erectile dysfunction medications need to work on your circulatory system and need to dialate your blood vessels for proper blood flow. You won’t find any over the counter medications that do this safely. It’s just a type of drug that needs to be controled, prevented from being mixed with other medications, and your doctor needs to insure that they are safe for you to take.

After a target market evaluation, Legend Sales Inc. has decided to re-design PenisPumpWarehouse.com to make it more user friendly with easier navigation for it’s main client base which is mainly comprised of seniors.

Many older Americans are making the movement towards a more natural lifestyle that includes limiting medications whenever possible, and they are turning to online web stores to make purchases for personal health needs. As a result of this increased interest, PenisPumpWarehouse.com has also added a complete men’s health section providing information about erectile dysfunction, offering ideas for other natural remedies and explaining why it’s important to talk to a doctor first.

Men who visit PenisPumpWarehouse.com will be able to navigate more easily through the large horizontal navigation bar, enjoy easier reading with larger font and 25 percent larger photos that offer a close up view unlike any other online web source. Orders can be placed online or by telephone and the privacy policy has remained the same, offering discreet billing and shipping.

One of the highlights of the re-design is a page which suggests the correct products that correspond with each man’s severity of erectile dysfunction: http://penispumpwarehouse.com/most-popular.php If a customer’s doctor approves of a vacuum pump for treatment, the above suggestion page will provide a personalized treatment option. This feature is an industry first and is already making a difference in mens success rate.

Baby Boomers are aging, and with it comes an increased likelihood of erectile dysfunction. This condition affects 5 to 10 percent of men around age 40. By age 70, 40 to 60 percent will develop ED. It can be simply associated with reduced psychological processes brought on by age, or it can be a sign of a more serious condition therefore all men with ED are urged to make an appointment with a doctor to get a check-up.

Seniors are enjoying sex more then ever before; however, many couples require an aid such as a penis vacuum pump which gives the body the boost required to achieve an erection. It’s the most popular alternative to prescription medication, and it can even be used in conjunction with other treatments to achieve better results. PenisPumpWarehouse.com has been the leading supplier of vacuum pumps for men with erectile dysfunction; and from the new website design, the company is confident the customer base will grow and will be more satisfied with their online experience.

American Pharmacy will take this opportunity to introduce their new product called TriMix for Travel to urologists attending the Conference. TriMix for Travel is a new non-refrigerated alternative for the erectile dysfunction (ED) treatment known as trimix for injection or just trimix.

Trimix for injection is a liquid form of medicine which requires refrigeration. Active patients find this cumbersome and inconvenient because they need to carry their medicine in ice packs whenever leaving home such as on vacation or nights on the town.

This new formulation does not require refrigeration. American Pharmacy can compound TriMix for Travel in the exact dosage strengths patients are presently prescribed. All they do is mail their prescriptions to American Pharmacy or have their doctors use this form (http://americanpharmacysolutions.com/pdf/Letter-to-Doctor-for-Traveling-TriMix.pdf) to phone in the prescriptions at 877-729-1015 or fax them to 877-729-1019.

Darian Chandler, COO at American Pharmacy says Initial feedback from patients has been overwhelming. With TriMix for Travel NO MORE ICE PACKS. Anyone interested in learning more about TriMix for Travel can visit http://www.AmericanPharmacySolutions.com .

American Pharmacy Solutions, LLC, is a full service compounding pharmacy specializing in treatment solutions for urological practices. New products include a new non-refrigerated trimix called TriMix for Travel, the original TriMix-gel

By on February 11, 2012 in Cure For Erectile Dysfunction

Question by botek: how to cure erectile dysfunction?
am a diabetic for 6 years now. am 55 years of age. taking glibenclamide and humamet for maintenance.

Best answer:

Answer by Stev Clark
How erectile dysfunction is treated depends on what things are causing it. After your doctor checks you for medical problems and medicines that might cause erectile dysfunction, he or she may have you try a medicine to help with erectile dysfunction. Some of these medicines are injected into your penis. Other medicines are taken by mouth. Not everyone can use these medicines. Your doctor will help you decide if you can try them.

London (PRWEB UK) 30 January 2012

Of those who admitted to using tablets for male impotence, more than 50% were said to drink more than 21 units of alcohol per week, reports QuitFullStop on the back of a recent 600-strong health survey.

A recent survey exploring the correlation between lifestyle habits and male sexual health issues concluded that, more than half of those men asked drink more than 21 units of alcohol per week, putting them just within the borderline for the Governments recommended alcohol consumption allowance. (1)

The number of smokers using impotence tablets, a staggering 10%, pales into insignificance when matched side-by-side with men who are on the edge of exceeding their weekly alcohol quota.

From the survey, QuitFullStop knows of only those men who have reported difficulties in getting erections, however it can not ascertain the entire sphere of incidents upon where an impotence problem goes unreported, or at worst, unrecognized, meaning many more cases may supplement the already alarming sets of statistics.

The facts are clear, smoking and alcoholism interfere with the mobility of bloodflow to vital organs, which has a direct impact on how a man functions sexually. Data indicates that about 8 out of 10 cases are of a physical nature.

QuitFullStop is an online information portal dedicated to helping people quit smoking and stay smoke-free. By going online to http://www.quitfullstop.co.uk a smoker can obtain free, impartial advice on the most relevant topics surrounding smoking cessation.

At QuitFullStop a smoker can also take online tests, and collect a custom badge to add to a Facebook page, blog or website to show they are serious about quitting smoking once and for all.
